JavaScript’s rising popularity has brought with it a lot of changes, and the face of web development today is dramatically different these days. The things that we can do on the web nowadays with JavaScript running on the server, as well as in the browser, were hard to imagine just several years ago, or were encapsulated within sandboxed environments like Flash or Java Applets. With all the research and development, Full Stack Development and Automation testing seems to be the most sought after jobs in the near future. Until we have the web developing, we will obviously have the demand for developers who will constantly and tirelessly work towards it.

Front-end, back-end or full stack development, you will have different coding languages and skills to develop. The more you know with proper accuracy, the merrier. Nevertheless, you can still choose from a wide range of options that can help you excel in certain fields and areas. In this blog, we will be seeing the career opportunities that are openly available for Node, React, Python and React Native in 2021.

Let’s start off with our Node. As Wikipedia states: “Node.js is a packaged compilation of Google’s V8 JavaScript engine, the libuv platform abstraction layer, and a core library, which is itself primarily written in JavaScript.” According to recent research, the demand for Node.js has gone higher than Java, the most sought after programming language. Although the comparison might seem a bit ridiculous, the truth cannot be denied. The demand is high, my friend! The job openings for Node.js development is at peak. Less development time, the requirement of less number of servers, and unparalleled scalability offered by Node.js are the major reasons why companies are adopting it. The non-blocking event loop property of Node.js is the major selling point for which audiences are quite easily attracted and thus increasing its scalability.

Since Node.js uses Javascript extensively, it becomes easier for the user to run through things and get their outputs easily. Javascript is the simplest and most popular way to develop apps. With Node.js and Javascript, you can not only develop browsers but server-side applications as well. Compared to other languages and their event-loop systems, e.g. Python and Ruby, JavaScript proves to have better performance. Plus, there’s less room for human error, as programmers can avoid mental switching between browser and server.

You can also become a full-stack developer with knowing Node.js in the back-end perspective. With other languages like React, Express.js and few others, you can become a full-stack developer. This can help you to not only explore a lot of avenues but also fetch you the dreamt about salary and the chances of leading a team. The salary of a Node.js developer is also at an average of 5–10 LPA and this entirely depends on the candidate’s proficiency skills. Hence, Node.js developers do have a future as bright as the sunlight!

Let’s get into Python now. Python is not only one of the most popular programming languages but also one of the most promising careers in the future. It ensures better and more concise codes with faster readability, something that no other programming language can offer. Even a shorter code written in python can deliver better designs. Python is also one of the best tools for creating dynamic scripts on large as well as small scales. Python can be used in several areas, including testing, web development, app development and upgrades, and scriptwriting, to name a few. Python’s automatic memory management and dynamic type system support different programming standards. Python opens for you several avenues that no other programming language can.

The reason why programmers love python is because of how quickly they can learn this programming language and start using it to develop any kind of real projects. It is a programming language that significantly cuts down on the total development time. Python has a lot of APIs and several libraries that help in data manipulation, software development and several others. With this, we can clearly draw a line as to why Python is one of the best programming languages across the globe.

The average salary of someone inclined towards python can be Rs. 5,80,000 per annum and can go upto Rs. 1,000,000 if you have the proper experience and professional skills. You will have the opportunity to work with the world’s most popular names, such as Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, and others. Your career will continue to grow as you gain more experience. The popularity of python can be gauged by the fact that it is used by some of the biggest names in the world — Facebook, Netflix, Google, and Spotify, amongst others. This points towards one thing — as a professional skilled in python, you will have your long dreamt chance of working with one of your favourite companies. Hence, as you can see, you not only get to work with a plethora of companies, you also get to be paid extremely well and fair. Python has the speed of the snake python, taking you upwards the ladder of success in your career!

A continuation of the next blog will point out the aspects of learning React and React Native and how this can be a boon in your career.
